That has been frustrating, to say the least! But instead of evolving the software adding new capabilities and becoming better at something, you just kept fixing the backend over and over again, making it easier to scale and develop but with few relevant user facing features. I believed since I first tried the Personal Brain in 2011 that you were very close to having an amazing knowledge management platform with unique capabilities (not anymore - more on that later). I will also provide solution ideas, not just complaints. stay with me until the end of the long rant. Hope this license payment and a true wish to take you out of your comfort zone to help TheBrain move forward will be enough for this message to be taken seriously.
It will be end of the line for me (and I guess others), if it doesn't happen soon. It was because, after 9 years - yes NINE YEARS with several serious attempts to extract value from TheBrain with very mild results, I wanted to give the product and team one last chance to deliver according to expectations. It wasn't because I really needed the product and couldn't find a better alternative.
I recently subscribed to a one year TheBrain license. This is a message to the team behind TheBrain and its user base.
